Procedure to send SAT scores

I recently got my SAT scores. I just wanted to know how to send my SAT scores to the colleges I'm applying to. Also, is there any possibility to send scores to colleges after the official score release date?

To send your SAT scores to colleges, you will need to log into your College Board account. This is the account you created when you registered for the SAT. Once logged in, follow these steps:

1. Go to your "My SAT" page.

2. Click on "Send Scores" which you'll find next to your SAT results.

3. Choose colleges or universities that you would like to send your scores to by searching for them.

Remember, most colleges require that you send your scores directly from the testing agency to ensure their validity. They will not accept scores sent from students or high schools.

Regarding sending scores after the official release date, it's absolutely possible to send your scores to colleges even after the official score release date. Just keep in mind that it takes about 1–2 weeks for your scores to reach a college after you request to send them. Therefore, you should check each college's specific deadline for score submissions to ensure they arrive on time.

Additionally, some colleges participate in the College Board's "Score Choice" option. This means you can choose which SAT test dates' scores you would like to send, rather than automatically sending all of your scores.
