What's the average GPA for admission at UNC Charlotte?

Hey everybody. I've got UNC Charlotte on my college list, but I'm having trouble finding solid info on what kind of GPA they typically look for. Does anyone have some specifics they could share? Would greatly appreciate any insight.

UNC Charlotte, like many universities, doesn't have a precise GPA requirement. However, they do provide information about the GPA and academic qualifications of recently accepted students. For instance, for the incoming class of 2023, the average high school GPA was approximately 3.9 on a weighted 4.0 scale. Keep in mind that admissions decisions are made based on several factors, including the rigor of your course load and your involvement in extracurricular activities, so a lower GPA might be offset by strengths in other areas.

These values can fluctuate slightly from year to year, so I recommend checking the university's admissions website or getting in touch with their admissions office directly for the most up-to-date information. Additionally, keep in mind that this is just an average and achieving a 3.9 GPA won't guarantee admission, just as having a slightly lower GPA won't automatically disqualify you. What's perhaps more important is showing strong academic potential and a demonstrated interest in the areas of study you're interested in pursuing.
