Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out what kind of SAT score the Air Force Academy is looking for. Any Air Force cadets or applicants out there who can give me a ballpark figure? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
The United States Air Force Academy does not have a set minimum SAT score. Instead, they practice a holistic review process which means they consider all parts of your application, including your academic record, leadership experience, athletics, and character, not just your test scores.
However, for reference, the middle 50% of accepted students typically score between 1320 and 1470 on the SAT. This means 25% of admitted students score below 1320 and another 25% score above 1470. Keep in mind, scoring within or above this range does not guarantee admission, as the Academy considers all aspects of the applicant's portfolio.
