What's FAU's acceptance rate?

I'm really interested in FAU and have been prepping my application. How competitive is it to get in? Can anyone tell me what their current acceptance rate is? That would give me a solid idea of where I'm standing.

Florida Atlantic University (FAU) had an acceptance rate of approximately 73% in recent years, but admissions have gotten more and more competitive. FAU itself current lists an acceptance rate of 59%.

Keep in mind that the acceptance rate only tells part of the story. It's also essential to look at the average GPA and SAT/ACT/CLT scores of admitted students, as well as the requirements of your desired program, to have an accurate understanding of the selectivity.

There are also other aspects of your application like your extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation that contribute significantly to your application. Admissions is a complex process that bases acceptance on a variety of factors – not only statistics. Putting together a well-rounded application will definitely increase your chances of acceptance. You can use CollegeVine's free admissions calculator to gauge your chances of success in applying to FAU: https://www.collegevine.com/admissions-calculator.

Make sure your application showcases your strengths, interests, and potential contribution to the campus. Good luck with your application!
