UGA SAT Requirements

Hello everyone, I'm currently a junior and my sights are firmly set on the University of Georgia. I was wondering if anyone could shine some light on the SAT score I should aim for to get into UGA? Thanks in advance!

The University of Georgia, as of the 2024-2025 application cycle, does use standardized test scores as a component of their admissions process. However, keep in mind that a high SAT score alone doesn't guarantee admission as they use a holistic review process, considering other factors such as GPA, class rank, curriculum rigor, recommendation letters, essays, and extracurricular activities.

As for the SAT score, it's generally beneficial to aim for a score above the middle 50% range of accepted students to be competitive. For UGA, the middle 50% SAT range for accepted students tends to be between 1230 and 1410. Therefore, having an SAT score above 1410 would place you in the upper quartile of admitted students and would increase your chances of acceptance.

However, don't let these numbers discourage you if you're not there yet. Standardized test scores are just one part of your application, and UGA takes into account many different factors when deciding on who to admit. Good luck with your studies and your application process!
