PSAT Scores 2024 Percentile

Hey everyone! So I've been trying to find info on PSAT score percentiles for the upcoming 2024 test, but there seems to be a lot of conflicting info. Does anyone have a reliable source for this, or a general idea of what the percentiles might look like?

The College Board, which administers the PSAT, normally releases the percentiles for the test. Typically, the percentiles for your PSAT score can be found in your score report, whether in print or online.

That being said, the exact percentiles might slightly vary each year depending on the range of scores from all the students taking the test. In general, however, a PSAT score in the 1200s would likely put you in the 80-90th percentiles, which puts you ahead of 80-90% of the students.

One important detail to keep in mind is that the PSAT percentiles are more of a benchmark for you to gauge your preparation level for the SAT rather than for college admissions. Colleges primarily concern themselves with your SAT or ACT scores and don't really take into account your PSAT scores. The PSAT serves as a good indicator of how you might perform on the SAT.

Remember to focus your energy on your SAT or ACT, keep your grades up, stay involved with your extracurriculars, and put effort into your college essays. Those factors play a much bigger role in your college admissions process.
