May 4th seems to be a big day for APs, and I've got back-to-back exams. Any pro tips on how to tackle two big exams on the same day without totally frying my brain?
It's definitely a challenge to face more than one AP exam in a day. Here's what I advise my students. The night before, ensure you get a full night's sleep. It sounds simple, but it's one of the most effective ways to make sure your brain is operating at full capacity. On the day, have a nutritious breakfast and pack energizing snacks like nuts, fruits, or granola bars. Between exams, find a quiet place to decompress — even if it's just for a few minutes. Take deep breaths, stretch, and try to clear your mind before you dive into the next subject. It’s also important to stay hydrated throughout the day. Remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint; pace yourself and give your eyes a break from studying when you can. Some of my students have found it helpful to lightly review notes for the second exam, but the key is 'lightly' — don't cram! Focus on staying calm and confident, you've been preparing all year for this!
