When to Expect Early Decision Responses?

Feeling a bit anxious here - for those of you who applied Early Decision, when did the colleges get back to you? I'm trying to plan out how I'll manage my time and expectations as I wait for the responses. Also, any tips on handling the anticipation?

I completely understand that waiting for Early Decision responses can be pretty stressful. Typically, colleges send out their ED notifications around mid-December, although the exact date can vary by school. It's best to check the admissions website of the colleges you've applied to for the most accurate information. As for tips on handling the anticipation, my suggestion would be to keep yourself busy with activities you enjoy, whether it's a hobby, work, volunteering, or even continuing to excel in your schoolwork. Not only does it help pass the time, but staying engaged in productive activities can also make you feel more accomplished and less fixated on the waiting process. Remember to also surround yourself with friends and family who support you; talking about your feelings can really help ease the anxiety. And don't forget to take care of yourself — exercise, sleep, and proper nutrition can do wonders for stress. Hang in there, the notification day will come before you know it!
