Out of State Tuition for Baylor Univ.

Hey there, I'm from the West Coast and I'm thinking about applying to Baylor but I'm not sure how much the tuition is for out-of-state students. Does anyone have some recent figures or a place where I can check? Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Baylor University, located in Waco, Texas, is a private institution, which means its tuition is the same for all students regardless of their state residency. According to their website, for the 2024-2025 academic year, the annual cost of tuition is $58,100.

Keep in mind that this figure does not include other college expenses such as room and board, meal plans, books, and other personal expenses. When these are factored in, the full cost of attendance at Baylor is estimated to be around $74,000 per year.

Students often end up paying less than the full cost of attendance after financial aid and scholarships, so I recommend visiting Baylor’s financial aid office’s website to learn more about the financial aid opportunities they offer.

Also, keep in mind you can use the school's net price calculator to get a better estimate of what you'll actually end up paying, taking into accounts factors like your family's income and potential merit scholarships. It's a useful tool to help plan financially for your college education.

Best of luck with your college search!
