Where exactly is Texas A&M University located?

Hey guys, I'm an out-of-state student thinking about applying to Texas A&M University next year. Could anyone help me out by telling me the exact location of the campus? Assuming I get in and decide to go, I'd like to know what the surrounding area is like, if there are any fun things to do off-campus, that sort of thing.

Texas A&M University is located in College Station, Texas, which sits approximately in the triangle formed by Houston, Austin, and Dallas, three major Texan cities. The address of the main campus is 400 Bizzell St, College Station, TX 77843, USA.

College Station is known for being a college town, with the university being the heart of the city. There's a general atmosphere of school spirit that pervades the town, which can make for a very spirited college experience.

As far as things to do off-campus go, you'll have a fair number of options available. Northgate, a district directly to the North of the campus, is popular among students for its variety of bars, restaurants, and shops.

The city also offers access to a number of outdoor recreational activities. There are over 50 public parks in the College Station-Bryan area, and Lake Bryan is a local hotspot for boating, fishing, and outdoor concerts.

Additionally, the close proximity to major cities like Houston and Austin means you can easily plan weekend trips to visit larger cultural and entertainment hubs when you're up for a change of scenery.

As a heads-up, it's generally a good idea to have a car or access to a vehicle if you're attending school in Texas, as public transportation options can be limited and distances between destinations are typically large.
