Mount Holyoke: Affordability?

Hey folks, my college search is underway and Mount Holyoke has caught my interest. I'm wondering, what's the general ballpark figure for the cost of attendance? Financial aid opportunities would hook me. Any insights?

Hello!

For the 2024-2025 academic year at Mount Holyoke, the estimated cost of attendance, which includes tuition, room and board, personal expenses, and books and supplies, is around $86,702.

But keep in mind, that's just the sticker price. What you'll actually pay can be quite different depending on your financial situation and what kinds of financial aid you qualify for.

The college follows a need-blind admissions policy for domestic students, which means your ability to pay won't affect your admission decision. And their philosophy is a 100% demonstrated need policy, hence they are committed to meeting the full demonstrated need of each admitted student.

To determine your own eligibility for need-based aid at Mount Holyoke (or any other school), I suggest using the school-specific net price calculators available on their websites.

I hope that helps! Good luck with your college search.
