Must-know concepts for AP Bio exam?

I've been studying for the AP Bio exam, but I'm worried I might be missing something important. Can anyone tell me what the absolute must-know concepts are that I can't afford to not understand for the test?

It's great that you're taking the initiative to ensure you're well-prepared for the AP Bio exam! Some key concepts you absolutely need to understand include the structure and function of cells, how energy flows through ecosystems, genetics and the principles of inheritance, and evolutionary biology, including natural selection and population genetics. Make sure that you're also comfortable with the basics of molecular biology, such as DNA replication, transcription, and translation. Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are crucial topics as well, and you should understand both in detail. Don't forget about plant and animal physiology, particularly how organ systems work.

Studying past exam questions and understanding how to design and interpret scientific experiments is also very helpful for the AP Bio exam. I recommend using official College Board materials and practice tests to guide your study, as they'll give you a good idea of what to expect on the actual exam. Also, remember that diagrams and graphs are often used in AP Biology to test your ability to analyze and interpret data, so practice those skills, too. All the best in your studies, and stay persistent!
