Need Help Finding a Military High School in Moreno Valley

Hey guys, I'm a junior looking into military high schools here in Moreno Valley. I would appreciate if anyone has info on some of the best military high schools in Moreno Valley, their admission procedures, and experiences. Really stressed but excited about this path, any insight helps!

As of my knowledge, it is important to note that there are no specific military high schools within Moreno Valley, CA. However, there is the possibility of enlisting in Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) programs that various high schools might offer within the region. JROTC is a government-funded program that is present in many high schools across the country, and while it doesn't necessarily equate to a full military high school, it does offer a lot of structure and discipline similar to that of a military school.

Moreno Valley High School, for example, offers Army JROTC. In this program, students get to learn about citizenship, leadership, and personal development. They can participate in drills, military style physical fitness training, uniform inspections, and leadership workshops.

If you're specifically looking for full-time military schooling, it might be necessary to broaden your search area. One option would be the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, CA. It's an all-boys private military boarding school for grades 7-12 and has been around for over a century. Their admissions process includes filling out an online application, an interview, and submission of transcripts and standardized test scores.

In any case, you should reach out to your school counselor who will be the best resource for helping identify potential opportunities that align with your interests and future plans. Military education can provide numerous opportunities for growth, but it's essential to make sure it's the right path for your personal and academic development.

Remember, there are many paths to a successful future, so don't stress too much. Good luck with your journey and I hope you find the right fit for you!
