I've always been interested in the University of California system as they're supposed to be really well-ranked. Still, there are lots of them and UC Irvine has caught my attention. I'm not from California and geography isn't my strong suit so could anyone please tell me where it's located?
UC Irvine, also known as University of California, Irvine, is located in the city of Irvine, in Orange County, California. The city of Irvine is part of the larger Los Angeles metropolitan area and is known for its thriving business sectors, including a substantial tech industry, as well as its high level of safety and overall quality of life. For reference, Irvine is approximately 40 miles southeast of Los Angeles, and around 15 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. The campus itself is close to numerous natural and cultural attractions, with nearby beaches, mountains, and renowned spots like Disneyland within a reasonably short drive.
