Considering the US Military After High School

Cons:

1. Risk and Stress: Military service comes with inherent risks and can be highly stressful, both physically and emotionally. This is an important consideration when thinking about this path.

2. Time Commitment: Generally, there is a required time commitment upon enlistment, which can range from three to eight years of active duty. This may limit other opportunities in the interim.

3. Limited Choice: Depending on your assignment or role within the military, you may not have much control over where you live or what your duties are.
