In search of colleges with a strong engineering program like Lafayette College?

Junior here feeling a bit in over my head. I've heard that Lafayette College has a robust engineering program within a liberal arts context, which sounds really appealing to me. I'm wondering if you guys know of any other colleges that offer a similar mix? Preferably ones that are known for giving a well-rounded education but also have a kick-butt engineering track. If you've got recommendations or went through the same thing, spill the beans, please!

It's great that you've recognized the value in combining liberal arts with a robust engineering program! Other schools that offer a similar mix and are renowned for their engineering within a liberal arts context include schools like Harvey Mudd College, which is part of the Claremont Colleges consortium, and Swarthmore College known for its rigorous academics. Also, Bucknell University and Lehigh University are worth considering, as they have strong engineering programs with a liberal arts backdrop. Moreover, smaller institutions such as Olin College of Engineering focus exclusively on engineering, but still emphasize a holistic and integrated approach to learning. When looking for colleges, check their curriculum to ensure that it provides both depth in engineering and a breadth of courses in other disciplines. I hope this helps as you continue exploring your options!
