Private Military High Schools in California—Co-ed?

Hey guys, here's my situation. I live in Cali and I'm really interested in a military-based education. Do you guys know of any co-ed private military high schools here? I would love to hear about experiences from anyone who went to one.

Sure, I can help you out. Some private military high schools in California that are co-ed include Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, and St. Catherine's Academy in Anaheim.

To start with, the Army and Navy Academy is a College Preparatory boarding school for boys that offers grades 7-12. They've been around for over a century and are quite dedicated to fostering character development and academic excellence, with a distinctly military framework.

St. Catherine's Academy, on the other hand, is a Catholic school with a military tradition, offering grades TK-8. It's a smaller institution and provides a lot of individual attention.

Though I haven't personally attended these schools, it's important to note that every individual's experience at a military high school can vary greatly. Much of it comes down to how well the structure and approach fits with your individual learning style and personal objectives. As a norm, these schools tend to offer a structured, disciplined environment which some students find extremely useful. Plus, the focus is not just academic; leadership skills, physical fitness, and character building form a big part of the curriculum.

Before you decide, I'd recommend reaching out to these schools and request a tour, if possible. This could help you get an idea of what you'd be signing up for. Learned anything new about other relevant schools, or have any more questions? Let me know.
