Out of state tuition for Pace University

I'm seriously considering applying to Pace University, but I'm a bit anxious about their out of state tuition. Can anyone provide me some insight into this? Are there also any ways to offset it, like scholarships or grants?

For Pace University, out-of-state students don't need to worry about inflated tuition costs because luckily, tuition is the same for both in-state and out-of-state students. For the 2024-2025 academic year, the tuition is around $51,382. Keep in mind that this number is just tuition and does not include room and board, books, and miscellaneous fees, so the total cost of attendance will be higher.

On the bright side, it's important to know that most students don't pay the sticker price. Pace University offers a variety of scholarships and grants to assist students financially. For instance, Pace has Merit Scholarships that do not require any separate application. They are awarded on the basis of the academic strength of the applicant. Also, through the Pace University Grant, the institution provides need-based aid to students. Pace Grant is available to full-time Undergraduate students matriculated in a degree program at Pace University. Awards are based on academic promise and financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

You might also consider federal grants, such as the Pell Grant or the Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), which can also help reduce your out-of-pocket expenses. These options are typically need-based, and to apply you would need to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

In addition, consider external scholarships catered to your personal circumstances and qualifications – these are great resources that can help offset college costs.

Lastly, remember it's always a good idea to contact the financial aid office at Pace. They can provide the most current and detailed information, as well as guide you through any applications for financial aid.
