What's Drexel's Cost of Attendance?

I can't seem to find a clear estimate of Drexel's cost for tuition, housing, meals, and other expenses. Can anyone share the latest information or where they found it? Is financial aid quite generous for those in need?

For the 2024-2025 academic year, the estimated total cost of attendance at Drexel University is about $83,818. This cost includes tuition, fees, room and board, books and supplies, personal expenses, and transportation.

Here's a breakdown. Of course, these are just estimates and the actual costs may vary somewhat:

- Tuition: $60,042

- Fees: $2,370

- Room and Board: $18,096

- Books and Supplies: $1,200

- Personal Expenses: $1,200

- Transportation: $910

As for financial aid, Drexel does have a range of scholarships, grants, work-study opportunities, and loans. The university does make an effort to meet the financial needs of students, but the amount of aid can vary quite a bit from student to student.

In order to get an estimate of what you might receive in financial aid, I would recommend using Drexel's net price calculator (https://drexel.edu/drexelcentral/finaid/prospective-students/net-price-calculator/), which can provide a personalized estimate based on your family's income and other factors.

Also, remember that when you're applying for financial aid, you should fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as early as possible, as some aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. You should also keep an eye out for any additional scholarships or grants you might qualify for, both within and outside the university.
