Hi everyone, I'm a rising senior and I'm super interested in WUSTL. I'm just not sure about what majors they offer. Has anyone got any info about this or a link to where I can find more about their programs?
Washington University in St. Louis offers a broad array of undergraduate programs of study. While I can't provide a comprehensive list in this post, I can mention some of the more popular and unique paths that exist. Please note that the options vary somewhat between the university's different divisions, which include the College of Arts & Sciences, the Olin Business School, the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, the McKelvey School of Engineering, and the College of Architecture.
In the College of Arts & Sciences, for instance, you could major in areas like Psychology, Political Science, Biology, Economics, or English Literature. The Olin Business School offers programs in Business Administration with various concentrations like Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and more. Meanwhile, the McKelvey School of Engineering offers majors in fields like Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
If you're more artistically inclined, the Sam Fox School has robust programs in Design, Art, and Architecture. There's also a strong program in Music if that's your passion.
I suggest visiting the WUSTL website to examine the full array of undergraduate majors and minors. There you can find detailed descriptions of each program and department, which will give you a better understanding of what to expect. Keep in mind that WUSTL encourages and supports interdisciplinary study, so you can pair a major and minor(s) in different fields that suit your individualized interests and career goals. Good luck with your college search!
