Boston University or Lehigh University: which should I choose?

Good day, fellow students. I got acceptances from Boston University and Lehigh, and I'm having a hard time deciding between these two. Does anyone have advice or info on the pros and cons of each?

Sure, congrats on your acceptances! Both are great choices, but the best fit depends on what you're looking for in a university.

Boston University is a larger, urban school. If you're someone who thrives in a bustling city, enjoys being in a more diverse environment, and want hundreds of clubs and organizations to join, BU might be the right fit. The student body is larger, therefore class sizes might be a bit larger especially in the lower-level courses. Being in Boston also provides plentiful internship and job opportunities which is a huge plus.

On the other hand, Lehigh University is a smaller, more close-knit community. Class sizes are typically smaller and you might find more personal attention from professors. The campus is in a suburban setting, more removed from the hustle of the city, which might be appealing if you appreciate a quieter environment. Lehigh is well-known for its strong engineering and business programs, as well as Greek life, if that's something that interests you.

Cost may also be an important factor to consider. Look at your financial aid packages from each school and consider how much you'll be paying out of pocket or in loans.

Lastly, visit the campuses if you can. See where you feel more comfortable, where you can see yourself for the next four years.

Both schools are excellent and have their strengths depending on what you value most in your college experience. Congrats again- you can't go wrong with either!
