Admissions details for colleges in Marietta, GA

Hey there, I was hoping anyone familiar with the colleges in Marietta, GA could tell me more about the admissions process? Are there any unique application requirements or deadlines I need to be aware of? Cheers!

Hello! Marietta, GA is home to a number of educational institutions, most notably Kennesaw State University (KSU) and Life University.

Kennesaw State University operates on a rolling admissions system, which means that they accept and make decisions on applications as they come in, up until the deadline. For the fall semester, the application deadline is June 1st. However, it's recommended to apply earlier rather than later, as space can fill up. Some unique aspects of KSU's application process include their requirement for proof of lawful presence in the U.S., and two short essays for their Honors College application, if you're interested in applying to that.

Life University offers a variety of health sciences programs, with the Doctor of Chiropractic program being the most prominent. For their undergraduate programs, they have a rolling admissions system as well. For the fall term, the application deadline is September 16th. They require a minimum high school GPA of 2.0 or GED equivalent. An interesting aspect of Life University's admissions process is that SAT/ACT scores are not required, but if submitted, they'll be taken into consideration.

Lastly, Chattahoochee Technical College, a two-year technical institution, also has campuses in and around Marietta. They have rolling admissions. The priority application deadline for the fall semester is July 12th, and the regular deadline is August 2nd. For acceptance, they require a standard high school diploma or GED.

Remember to review each school's individual requirements carefully, especially as additional requirements could apply depending on your chosen field of study. Best of luck with your applications!
