Out-of-State Tuition for University of Utah?

Hey guys, I'm from Cali and the University of Utah has recently caught my attention. Since I'll be an out-of-state student, does anyone know what the tuition costs might be?

The out-of-state tuition for the University of Utah is notably higher compared to in-state tuition. As of the 2024-2025 academic year, the estimated total tuition and fees for out-of-state students is around $34,900 per academic year. It's important to keep in mind that this is just the tuition and institutional fees - it doesn't include other potential costs like room and board, textbooks, personal expenses, etc.

You might also want to look into the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program, which allows students from participating states (including California) to pay no more than 150% of the in-state tuition rate at select schools, including the University of Utah. This could significantly lower your cost of attendance if you are eligible.

Of course, all these numbers are estimates and can change from year to year, so I would encourage you to check with the university's financial aid and admissions office for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
