Student diversity at CSULB?

Hey guys, I'm considering CSULB and while I've found a lot of info, I'm really keen to learn about the student demographics. Does anyone know how diverse the school is, in terms of race, gender, international students, etc?

Sure, I can share some figures based on the latest available statistics for CSULB, also known as California State University, Long Beach.

In terms of race and ethnicity, the student body at CSULB is quite diverse. Hispanic/Latino students represent the largest percentage at about 48%. Following this, there are approximately 21% Asian students, 15% White students, and about 3% Black students. The remainder of the student body is made up of students identifying as two or more races, Non-resident aliens (international students), and other categories.

In terms of gender distribution, women typically represent about 58% of the undergraduate student population, while men make up around 42%.

The proportion of international students might seem relatively small at around 5%, but remember that CSULB is a large university with a considerable student body. Even 5% represents a significant number of students from various global communities!

Whilst these figures give you a broad overview, please note that diversity can be viewed through different lenses beyond race and gender, including socio-economic backgrounds, life experiences, religious beliefs, sexual orientations and more. CSULB is known for its multicultural environment and has resources and initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion on campus.
