Pay benefits while deployed - how does it work in the military?

Hi everyone, I'm a junior and I'm seriously considering the military path after high school. Can anyone help me understand the pay benefits while being deployed. Like, does salary increase when you’re deployed overseas or serving in an active conflict? Any thoughts would be helpful!
