Question about Military Branch with the Least Deployments?

Hey everyone, been thinking about joining the military, but deployment lengths are a factor for me. Just wanted to ask, does anyone knows which military branch deploys personnel the least?

Deployment frequency can vary widely across different branches of the military and within each branch it can also depend on specific jobs, units, and current global circumstances. If minimizing deployments is vital, the Air Force and Coast Guard tend to have less frequent deployments than the Army, Marines, and Navy.

The Air Force deployments typically last around 6 months and personnel usually then spend around 24 to 36 months at home before their next deployment. However, it's important to keep in mind that this varies with different career fields and units.

The Coast Guard, while they do deploy, is generally more domestically focused and their deployments tend to be shorter in duration, often lasting a few months. However, this does not mean that all positions within the Coast Guard don't deploy - those in certain roles or units may deploy frequently.

In contrast, Army, Navy, and Marine Corps deploy more frequently, with the Army and Marines deploying anywhere from 9 to 12 months, and the Navy deploying for around 6 to 10 months. However, this varies and certain units may deploy more often and for longer durations.

Keep in mind that deployment frequency and length also vary depending on worldwide events and geopolitical situations. Thus, while this information provides a general idea of deployment length and frequency, it's not a guarantee. Remember to voice your concern about deployments to your recruiter who can provide the most accurate information based on current military operations.
