Info on U of M graduation rate?

Hey guys, first-time poster here looking for some advice. I have been considering U of M for next year, and I am curious about their graduation rate. Does anyone have updated numbers on this? Did you take it into account when applying?

Hello and welcome to the forum! The University of Michigan's (U of M) graduation rate is exceptional. As of the most recent data, about 93% of students at U of M graduate within six years, which is well above the national average of around 60%. Furthermore, nearly 81% of students graduate in just four years.

Many students take graduation rates into account when deciding which school to attend. A high rate may suggest that the students, staff, and resources align well, and that the institution is doing a good job of helping students to accomplish their educational goals. However, it's also important to remember that although graduation rates can provide some valuable information, they shouldn't be the sole deciding factor. You might instead consider how the college's majors, location, size, or campus culture fit with your personal goals and preferences.

If U of M is attractive to you because of these variables, in addition to having a high graduation rate, it could well be an excellent choice for you! Just make sure to tour the campuses (virtually or in person), speak with current students or alumni if possible, and review the required coursework for your intended major before making your decision. Good luck!
