Curious about the University of Georgia's size

Hey internet friends, stuff is getting real now and I'm looking into colleges. One of them on my list is the University of Georgia. I just wanna know how big the campus is, like is it sprawling or kind of compact, and what's the student population like? Any insights would be appreciated.

Hi there! The University of Georgia (UGA) campus spans a significant area in Athens, Georgia. The main campus itself is roughly 760 acres, so it's definitely not petite. You'd find a mix of historic and ultra-modern buildings, green lawns, research labs, and sports facilities.

In terms of its feeling, while the campus is expansive, it's designed in such a way that it maintains a certain cohesiveness. You wouldn't necessarily feel like you're in the middle of a vast, sprawling expanse. As for getting around, many students walk or bike, and there's also a well-run bus system that loops around the campus and town.

As for student population, as of recent data, UGA has close to 32,000 undergraduate students enrolled. This size comes with a blend of both the resources and opportunities a large university can offer, as well as the sense of community that UGA is known for. It's not uncommon to hear from students that despite its size, UGA still manages to have a close-knit, community feel.

Don't forget to check out virtual tours online or visit the campus, if possible, to get a better feel for what UGA is like. I hope this was helpful!
