ACT requirements for Texas State?

Texas State is high on my list, but ACT scores are stressing me out. Could anyone here inform me about their ACT requirements?

Texas State University follows a holistic admission process meaning they use various factors to evaluate applicants, among which is the ACT score. For the ACT, no minimum score requirement is officially published, but the middle 50% score range often provides a good gauge of what's typically expected. For Texas State University, the middle 50% ACT score range is roughly 22 to 29. This means that 25% of admitted students scored below 22, and 25% scored above 29.

That being said, remember Texas State University not only evaluates your ACT scores, but also takes into consideration your high school GPA, the rigor of your course load, your personal essays, recommendations (if provided), and extracurricular activities. For instance, demonstrating consistent involvement in a few key extracurriculars that you're passionate about can boost the overall strength of your application.

Furthermore, it's essential to ensure your scores are sent officially from the ACT to Texas State. Self-reported scores may be used for initial review, but your official scores would need to be submitted prior to enrollment. Lastly, make sure to leave enough time if you plan to retake the test to improve your score, and remember that it's most important to present a balanced application encompassing all areas of interests and proficiencies. Good luck!
