What are the GPA requirements for Loyola

I'm a junior and Loyola is one of my top choices for college. I'm slightly stressed about their GPA requirements though. Could someone give me a ballpark? Is there a difference between in-state and out-of-state GPAs requirement, if any?

The GPA admissions threshold can vary depending on the specific program and competition level at Loyola University Chicago. However, as of the most recent admitted class, the average GPA for incoming freshman at Loyola University Chicago was about 3.74. This indicates that the university generally seeks applicants with high academic achievements.

Admission to Loyola University Chicago is not contingent upon being in-state or out-of-state; the GPA requirement is universal for all students. However, the admissions process is holistic, meaning they consider more than just your GPA. Things like your course rigor, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation will also play a role.

Keep in mind that the GPA is just an average, and not an absolute cutoff. There are certainly students who are accepted with a lower GPA, as well as those who may not be accepted despite having a higher GPA.

It's always best to reach out directly to the admissions office at Loyola for the most accurate and current information. Remember, every student's situation is unique, and this information can vary from year to year based on the applicant pool.
