University of Colorado Boulder Admission?

Hey guys, I've been looking at the University of Colorado Boulder as one of my potential college choices. But, I'm finding myself a bit confused about their admission requirements. Could anyone share what they know about this? Are there any specific courses I must take or GPA I need to meet? Thanks in advance.

Minimum Academic Preparation Standards (MAPS) is the term for the list of high school courses that CU Boulder requires for admission. These include 4 units of English, 4 units of math (including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and an additional course), 3 units of natural sciences (two must be lab-based), 3 units of social science (must include one unit of U.S history or U.S government), 1 unit of foreign language, and 2 additional units of academic elective courses (can be any subject).

As for GPA, CU Boulder does not state a strict minimum GPA requirement, but the average high school GPA of incoming students is around 3.76. It's important to remember that this is an average, meaning plenty of admitted students have GPA's that are below this!

Besides the academic requirements, CU Boulder also looks at other factors such as your extracurricular activities, recommendation letters, and personal essays. Make sure to present a well-rounded application that shows your personality and interests outside of academics as well.
