UW-Madison's Diversity - Just Wondering

So, I've been reading up on University of Wisconsin, Madison. What's the diversity scene like over there? I know the 'stats' but I'd like to get a feel for the campus atmosphere. Are there a lot of resources/support for students from diverse backgrounds?
