Largest Universities in North Carolina

Hey, I'm a junior who's trying to build my college list. I adore the idea of a large campus community, so I've been considering North Carolina. Any idea what's the largest university in NC?

When it comes to student population size in North Carolina, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC Chapel Hill) is one of the biggest with approximately 30,000 students, approximately 20,000 of whom are undergraduates. North Carolina State University at Raleigh (NCSU) is also quite sizable with around 38,000 students, about 28,000 of which are undergraduates.

Please note that while size can contribute to features like a diversity of academic offerings and a vibrant campus life, it could also mean larger lecture classes and potentially less one-on-one attention, especially in introductory courses. Additionally, remember that size is just one facet of a college's environment - factors such as location (urban, suburban, or rural), presence of Greek life, athletic events, and club offerings also significantly contribute to a school's atmosphere.

So, as you continue your college search, make sure to consider all these different aspects in addition to size.
