Hi, everyone! I'm a high school junior looking at UC Santa Clara. Does anyone here know what the major programs they offer are? I’m particularly interested in anything related to Humanities.
I think there might be a bit of a confusion here. UC Santa Clara doesn't actually exist. There's Santa Clara University, which is a private, Jesuit university, and then there's the University of California system, which includes campuses in locations such as Berkeley, Los Angeles, San Diego, and so forth.
If you're referring to Santa Clara University, it does offer a variety of humanities-centered majors. Some of these include English, History, Philosophy, Religion and Society, and various modern languages. You can certainly visit their website to get a more comprehensive look at the different programs they offer.
If, on the other hand, you're thinking of a University of California campus, each one will have different offerings. Most of the UC schools offer expansive humanities programs, with majors ranging from History and English to Philosophy and International Studies.
It's important to research each school individually to get a sense of what programs they offer, and to see how well these align with your academic interests. Best of luck with your college search process.
