Army as a branch of military?

Alright, this might sound like a weird question but I want to know more about the Army. I mean, I know it's a branch of the military but can anyone give me a deeper insight into what life in the Army might be like and the types of roles available?

The Army is the land-based branch of the U.S. military, and it's the oldest service branch established, dating back to 1775.

In terms of roles, there are a lot of opportunities as the Army embodies a wide array of professions. This includes Infantry, Artillery, Engineering, Medical, Legal, Signal/Communications, and much more.
