Requirements for Arizona State?

Hello everyone, a little confused about the admission requirements for Arizona State University. What kind of GPA or other qualifications do they typically look for when accepting students?

Arizona State University (ASU) has a few critical benchmarks you need to meet to be eligible for its undergraduate program, according to its official requirements.

First, a minimum GPA is needed. If you're an Arizona resident, you should have at least a "B" average or a GPA of 3.00 in your competency courses, which includes the 4 years of English, math, and science. If you're a non-resident, you need a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale in these courses.

Second, graduating from high school or having a GED is also necessary. If you're in the middle of high school, you'll need to complete the 16 total core competency courses required by the university. These courses include English, Math, Lab Science, Social Science, and a specific blend of Fine Arts or CTE.

Third, ASU has a few more requirements. You need either a top 25% class ranking or a minimum ACT score of a 22 (24 for non-residents), or SAT scores of 1120 for residents and 1180 for non-residents. These test scores are not compulsory, but if you're within these benchmarks, it could enhance your admission chances.

Remember, however, that each application is considered on an individual basis, and meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission, as the admission process remains somewhat holistic and competitive.
