Yale Admissions: Is GPA the deciding factor?

Hey everyone, the stress about my college apps is real. Got Yale on my list and kinda freaking out over my GPA. Is there a minimum GPA requirement at Yale that they rigidly follow or is it just one aspect of holistic admissions? Any insight on how they weigh grades versus other parts of the application would be big help!

While Yale University does not have a strict minimum GPA requirement, it's important to note that they do look very closely at a student's academic record during the admissions process. Yale is known for its high academic standards, so students applying to Yale generally have extremely high GPAs. Most successful applicants are near the top of their class.

That being said, Yale's admissions process is holistic. This means they consider all parts of an applicant's profile, not just their GPA.
