Manhattan College GPA Requirements

Hi everyone! I'm a junior interested in Manhattan College, but I'm struggling to find clear info about their GPA requirements. Does anyone know what GPA range they usually look for in applicants?

Manhattan College tends to admit students who have solid high school records. If you look at some of the publicly available data, you'll find that the middle 50% of admitted students at Manhattan College generally have high school GPAs ranging from around 3.3 to 3.8 on a 4.0 scale. This gives an idea of the school's academic expectations, but remember, GPA is just one factor in your application.

Keep in mind that Manhattan College, like many colleges and universities, looks at your application holistically. This means they're also taking into consideration factors like your course rigor (such as AP or IB classes), extracurricular activities, essays, recommendation letters, and even personal circumstances along with your cumulative GPA.

It's also beneficial to pursue coursework and activities that align with your intended major or field of interest, as this shows a certain level of dedication and passion which colleges often look for in prospective students. And of course, writing a compelling personal essay can make a significant difference as well. So while GPA is a critical component of your application, it's not the only thing that Manhattan College--or any college, for that matter--will consider.
