How to Report ACT Scores on Common App?

Hey guys, could use a bit of guidance! Just got my ACT scores back and I'm ready to put them on my Common App. What's the process to report my ACT scores? Do I need to send an official report from ACT, or can I just type in my scores manually? I want to make sure everything is accurate and official so that I don't run into any issues later on.

Hey there! Glad to hear you've got your ACT scores in hand and are ready to move forward with your Common App. Here's what you need to do: You can self-report your ACT scores on the Common App by entering them manually in the "Testing" section. Make sure to input your highest section scores for each test date if you’ve taken the test multiple times, as some colleges consider a superscore (the combination of your highest scores for each section, even if you earned those scores on different days).

However, some colleges do require official scores to be sent directly to them. If you need to send official score reports, you’ll need to request these directly from ACT. Check early if any of your schools have this policy, to ensure you don't need to scramble at the last minute to follow their guidelines. Best of luck with your applications!
