What's the hardest military branch to enter?

Hey all - I'm up for a challenge and considering joining the military. Do you guys know which branch is the toughest to get into? Any specific requirements that make it particularly challenging?

The US Air Force is generally considered the most selective branch of the military. Its high demand for technical skills, combined with its more extensive education and physical training guidelines, often make it the most challenging to enter. Here are a few key factors:

Education: A higher percentage of enlisted personnel in the Air Force possess some college education as compared to other branches. They require at least a High School Diploma or a GED with 15 college credits.

Fitness: The Air Force also has quite stringent physical fitness requirements. While all branches have fitness tests, the Air Force's standards are seen as some of the most demanding, especially in relation to age and gender. For example, they balance both aerobic measurements (like a timed 1.5-mile run) and muscular fitness tests (the number of sit-ups and push-ups in a minute).

Technical Skills and ASVAB scores: The Air Force also hosts a high number of technical jobs (like Cyber Security or Operations intelligence), which require higher ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) scores.
