Newest military branch?

Hey everyone, I was just mulling over my post-HS plans and the military came to mind. I'm kind of big on modern stuff though, so I'm curious - which is the newest addition to the U.S. military branches?

The newest branch of the U.S. Military is the United States Space Force (USSF). It was officially established on December 20, 2019, making it the sixth branch of the U.S military.

The U.S Space Force is in charge of space warfare and space-related operations. Although it's a newer branch, the USSF actually came out of the U.S Air Force's existing space operations, which had been around in some form for a few decades. The goal of this branch is to protect U.S. interests in space and to maintain peace in space, as it becomes increasingly more trafficked. So if you're interested in space operations and modern technology, this might be a good fit for you.

Keep in mind that joining the military is a significant commitment and decision, and it should not be taken lightly. It's important to research all your options and possibly speak with a recruitment officer, a counselor, or someone who currently serves or has served in the military to understand what the commitment really involves.
