What is the GPA requirement for U of Miami?

Um, hi everyone. I'm hoping to apply to U of Miami but I'm not certain where my GPA stands compared to their requirements. Any information would be super helpful. Thanks.

The University of Miami does not explicitly state a minimum GPA requirement on their website. But keep in mind that university admissions are competitive; to be a strong applicant, you'll want to try to achieve a GPA close to their typical range.

As per the data, the middle average of accepted students' GPAs at the University of Miami tends to be around 3.8 on a weighted 4.0 scale. Of course, this is just the middle 50% — 25% of accepted students had a GPA below this range, and 25% had a GPA above it.

However, remember universities also consider other aspects of your application, such as your coursework rigor, letters of recommendation, extracurricular activities, essays, and test scores (test optional). It's also important not to neglect these areas, as a holistic approach is taken in the application review process. So, even if your GPA is below the mentioned range, demonstrating strengths in other areas can still make you a competitive applicant.
