What are the SAT Requirements for University of Delaware?

Hello, stressing out rising junior here. So, I know lots of colleges are going test optional, but for places that aren't, like University of Delaware, what kind of SAT scores are they looking for? Just need to get an idea on if I should take it again or focus on other stuff, like essays.

The University of Delaware is test optional for Fall 2024 but publishes the middle 50% SAT range for admitted students as part of its class profile. As of the most recent available data, that range is from 1260-1410. This range means that 25% of admitted students scored below 1260, 50% scored between 1260 and 1410, and 25% scored above 1410.

Remember, though, this is the range for admitted students, not necessarily the minimum required to apply or be considered. Also, keep in mind that these scores merely represent a portion of the review process; factors like your GPA, coursework, extracurricular activities, and essays are also heavily considered.

If your score falls within or above this range, spending more energy honing your essays may be beneficial. If your score falls significantly below this range and you believe you can improve it, considering a retake might be a good option. In any case, preparing a compelling application involves balancing all these factors as best as you can. Best of luck with the process!
