Tuition costs at Mines?

Hi everyone! I am very interested in studying at the School of Mines, but I'm unsure about the cost. Does anyone know what the current tuition rates are at Mines? I'd really appreciate your help!

Sure, I can help with that! As of the 2024-2025 academic year, for an in-state student at Colorado School of Mines, the estimated tuition fee is around $18,930 per year. If you're an out-of-state student, the tuition is slightly higher and hovers around $42,840 per year.

But remember, that's just the basic tuition cost. It doesn't cover other expenses like room and board, books, transportation, and personal expenses. If you total all these costs, for an in-state student, the estimated cost of attendance is about $43,800 per year, and for an out-of-state student, it's about $67,710 per year.

It's worth noting, however, that a lot of students don’t end up paying the full tuition thanks to financial aid and scholarships. You may want to check out Mines' net price calculator (https://inside.mines.edu/npc/) to estimate what you might pay after taking into account scholarships, grants, and need-based aid.

Remember, these figures are estimates, and the costs can change from year to year. Always check the school's official website for the most current information.
