Understanding Quinnipiac's Grading Scale?

Hey folks, I'm kinda stressed trying to figure out the grading scale at Quinnipiac. Does anyone here have some insights they could share? I can't seem to find a simple explanation of how theirs compares to the typical A-F grading scale.

Respondent: Hey, no worries. It can be a little tricky to get the hang of new grading scales, but once you understand it, it becomes pretty straightforward. At Quinnipiac University, there is a numerical grading system where courses are graded on a scale of 4.0.

In essence, it works like this:

- A+ equates to a 4.0

- A equates to a 4.0

- A- equates to a 3.7

- B+ equates to a 3.3

- B equates to a 3.0

- B- equates to a 2.7

- C+ equates to a 2.3

- C equates to a 2.0

- C- equates to a 1.7

- D+ equates to a 1.3

- D equates to a 1.0

- D- equates to a 0.7

- F equates to a 0.0

It's important to get acclimated with this scale because your GPA will be calculated based on these numbers. The best way to go forward is to set your academic expectations according to this numerical scale, and work towards achieving the highest mark that you can.
