Admission Requirements for University of Notre Dame?

Notre Dame is one of my dream schools but I have no clue about their specific admission requirements. Can someone fill me in on what they typically look for in a student? Like GPA, test scores, extracurriculars?

For University of Notre Dame, the admission requirements are like those for many prestigious schools, in that it will be competitive. Let's break it them down:

1. GPA: Notre Dame doesn't put a minimum GPA or a specific average GPA out. But, the institution is extremely competitive, with most successful applicants having high GPAs, typically over a 3.9 on an unweighted 4.0 scale.

2. Test Scores: Notre Dame is currently test-optional for the 2024-2025 application cycle. This means applicants have the option to choose whether or not to submit SAT or ACT scores. If you do choose to submit scores, Notre Dame's middle 50% SAT scores usually fall between 1440 and 1540, and ACT scores typically range from 32 to 35. But remember, you can apply without them.

3. Course Rigor: Like many competitive schools, Notre Dame will consider the rigor of your high school coursework. They'll want to see that you've challenged yourself with AP classes or other advanced courses if they were offered.
