San Francisco or LMU? Anyone Got Any Thoughts?

Ok guys, decision time. I'm trying to decide between San Francisco and LMU. What's the vibe like at each of them, and which do you think has better opportunities for internships and real-world experience?

When evaluating the "vibe" of a school, it's crucial to consider the surrounding environment. The University of San Francisco (USF) is situated in a bustling city with a diverse food scene, a rich array of cultural institutions, and ample job opportunities. The diverse and active environment helps students build connections and secure internships with numerous tech companies, startups, non-profits, and more.

On the other hand, Loyola Marymount University (LMU) nestled in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles is more residential. Yet it has close proximity to Hollywood, Silicon Beach, and downtown LA, providing opportunities in diverse industries like entertainment, tech, law, and finance.

As for internships and real-world experience, both schools offer strong opportunities, although the type might differ depending on your industry of interest. USF, given its location, might have a slight edge if you're interested in industries like technology or healthcare. In contrast, LMU has strong ties with the entertainment industry.

Ultimately, both colleges can provide you with valuable internship opportunities and enriching experiences. It might come down to the kind of lifestyle you prefer - one amidst the hustle and bustle of a major city or a more laid-back campus vibe. Visit both campuses, if you can, to get a feel for the environment and culture.
