UC San Diego Average SAT Scores

What are the average SAT scores of admitted students at UC San Diego? I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me a ballpark range of scores. I'm just trying to understand my chances given my SAT score.

While I understand your interest in SAT scores, it's important to remember that the University of California system, including UC San Diego, is test-blind for the 2024-2025 application cycle. This means these schools do not consider SAT or ACT scores at all as part of the admissions decision process.

Instead, they place more emphasis on other aspects of your application such as high school grades, the rigor of your coursework, your extracurricular involvements, and your personal insight essays.

Remember, each piece of your application serves to tell a part of your story. Think about what your grades, extracurricular activities, and essays convey about your intellectual curiosity, your commitment to your interests, and the contributions you could make to the UCSD community.

To better understand your chances at UC San Diego, you might consider checking average high school GPAs and the range of courses previous applicants have taken. This could give you a more holistic view of the characteristics UCSD typically seeks in its students.
