Location Confusion: University of Nebraska?

Hello peeps, been looking up different colleges to understand my choices here. University of Nebraska caught my attention, but can't seem to figure out where it's situated. Any insight?

Hello! You're right that the "University of Nebraska" refers to a system of universities, but you're likely thinking of the two main campuses in the system: the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (often referred to as "Nebraska") and the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which is typically referred to as "UNL", is located in Lincoln, Nebraska. It's the flagship institution of the University of Nebraska system. Lincoln is the state capital, and it's one of the largest cities in Nebraska. It's known for its vibrant downtown and historic Haymarket District, with lots of restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha, or "UNO", is located in Omaha, Nebraska, the largest city in the state. It's just north of the city center, close to a lot of metropolitan activities, cultural locations like the Joslyn Art Museum, and a pretty active food scene.

There's also the University of Nebraska Medical Center, based in Omaha, which is a major hub for medical and health education.

I hope this clears it up! Different campuses have different programs so you might consider what you want to study and look into which campuses offer which programs. Good luck with your college search!
