Certainly, there are several smaller colleges in Indiana with strong academic offerings that fit the bill for an intimate learning environment.

Earlham College in Richmond is known for its strong liberal arts program. It's especially recognized for programs in Social Sciences and Biological Sciences. Class sizes are small, fostering a close-knit learning community.

Wabash College in Crawfordsville is an all-male college which makes it rather unique. It's known for strong programs in Social Sciences, Business, and History. It offers plenty of opportunities for leadership and community engagement as well.

Saint Mary's College, in Notre Dame, is an all-female institution known for strong programs in Social Sciences, Health Professions, and Business. Their intimate academic environment encourages female leadership.

DePauw University in Greencastle has strong programs in Biological Sciences, Communication and Journalism, and Social Sciences. The setting combines a small town charm with a rigorous academic environment.

These colleges typically foster a strong sense of community, offer great faculty-student interaction and provide numerous opportunities to be actively involved on campus.

It would be beneficial to consider which field of study you're most interested in as this can guide your choice. Connecting with current students or alumni can also give you insights into these universities. If possible, consider a campus visit to experience the environment firsthand.
